[Tue 11:55] <Hena> Yes, I read the review at Airsoft Retreat. I better be careful... Again, thanks for the heads up! This has helped me alot!
[Tue 10:59] <Tacitus> You're welcome Hena Smiley I should have mentioned that mine came with a ridiculously soft pinion screw, which was a lot weaker than the glue holding it in place. It almost completely deformed when I tried to remove it, so be extra careful with it.
[Tue 03:55] <Drule_cRo> Hello from little town named Pula in Croatia. In this few days visiting this forum i learn alot.this forum rulz.
[Tue 01:44] <Hena> Thanks, Tacitus! I think I'll buy one if I get my MP5 project started. I'll replace the screws if I need to, if I don't I won't.  Wink Thanks for the heads up anyway!
[Mon 18:10] <Stallion16> hello i have a tech question if anyone can help...
[Mon 12:50] <Tacitus> There's a review of them on Airsoft Retreat. I have one and it's excellent, although it hasn't been confirmed whether or not they are just rebranded Element motors. If you do get one, I recommend replacing the endbell and pinion screws immediately, and being very careful with the plastic spring pins.
[Mon 00:30] <Hena> How good are those Planet AE1000-motors (sold at eHobbyasia)? They look like super high speed. The spring would be a M120.
[Sat 13:41] <eckoman11> You guys seem to know your stuff, so I have a question.  What kind of ROF can I expect from a G&P gearbox with an M110 spring, KWA motor, and Prometheus high speed gears running on a 15C 11.1v lipo?
[Fri 15:29] <Jolly Roger> I think I have a scrap of 6016 aluminum that might be big enough for the trial piece. I'll see if I can borrow a cage from my friend. Otherwise I'll use the CAD model that was kindly posted in the forums
[Fri 13:20] <wolfdragon> sounds like a plan
[Wed 22:07] <Jolly Roger> This would be a bit of an experiment and may take some time, but if it works they probably won't cost much more than the materials ($30 or so). I'm just wondering if it's worth trying because I don't exactly need one (I don't have an AUG) but if I can get like 3 people who might be interested, I'll order a billet.
[Wed 14:20] <wolfdragon> Jolly Rodger - I'll bite, I have a CA AUG I have been meaning to upgrade for a while now, time and cost estimate?
[Tue 22:21] <motorhead> The new Lion's looking crazy  Grin
[Tue 18:24] <Jolly Roger> Playing around on the mill today. Played with the idea of machining an aug motor cage. Any interest?
[Tue 14:38] <motorhead> lots of people here today. What's up all?
[Tue 13:00] <R.O.M_CZE> Hi all Smiley
